TTC PCC 4390 (an A6-class car built new for the TTC by CC&F in 1948) operates on the Dundas route, stopped at the corner of Dundas Street West and Sterling Road after dropped off some morning passengers heading to work at the car stop, before continuing east to City Hall Loop downtown. The sun angle and workers lunch bags and boxes suggest this is a weekday morning shot, most probably heading to some of the numerous local businesses and industries in the area to start another workday (this slide was dated for June 10th, which in 1973 fell on a Sunday, so the exact date is suspect).

A pair of overpasses along this section of Dundas St. W. carry vehicular traffic over rail lines in the area, including the one pictured that spans the CN & CP lines running between "The Junction" (West Toronto) and downtown Toronto. Visible in the background is the building for Wellinger & Dunn Limited off Sorauren Avenue ("Winn Well Sporting Goods" - today it's since been converted into condos) and a billboard advertising Doctor Fowler's Extract of Wild Strawberry ("To Relieve Diarrhea Fast"!).
