Caption: Tucked away in the woods along the east side of Nimpkish Lake on northern Vancouver Island was a typical Canadian Forest Products bridge over Noomas Creek. By clambering up a rock face on the northwest end (a perch often contemplated from rail level), this view of a northward train of logs powered by DB-equipped SW1200s 304 + 303 was caught on Wednesday 1988-09-21, capturing the full depth of that bridge, well worth the walk in and climb up.
