Two trains - This is train 247 - and also Train TH31. Pictured here, the Kinnear yard power is shoving (pushing) 247 up the Hamilton Subdivision mountain grade territory. The grade ends just beyond the power and this is where they normally cut off, on the fly.

As far as I can tell - any train over 2800 tonnes is likely to get pushers on the Hamilton sub (TrAM - Train Area Marshalling - this rule is likely specific to this grade) which means just about all Northbounds, except empty Ethanols and short trains get the pusher treatment.

Head end power was CP 8850 and CP 8564
