Caption: Unfortunately it's a rather grubby morning at The Pas. At least we did not have to worry about sun angles, which could hinder shooting northbound trains in the mid-morning.
Here at the former CN (now Keewatin) station is, on the left, VIA 6458, 6428, the power for the #691 train to Churchill. The other pair, PRLX (former GATX reporting marks) 2269 and 2265, is the power for KRC's "Puk train" (Pukatawagan) which was made up and leaving shortly after this image was taken.
The train, running twice weekly, is the only ground connection to that community of 1500 souls.
