Westbound at Tansley on a pleasant June day...remanufactured CN SD40U locos 6003 and 6007 sandwich an NRE 807 for power as the train comes up to #1 Sideroad. My map indicates the north side of the road is Milton, the south side, Burlington. I've always referred to this area by the old name, Tansley. This was an enjoyable place to hang out back then, when everything was quiet but the railroad.
Image shot with Mamiya 645 film camera with 400 ISO Fuji Reala for those interested.

  1. Very nice. I still enjoy stopping by this location. The unsightly signal case is now gone but over grown vegetation has replaced it.

  2. Welcome back Arnold. Can’t wait to see what you got up to. I was just in the NY/PA/DE areas but can’t share any of it here :)
