When it comes to CN’’s Dash-9’s these first examples have always been my favourite. In the early years they were hard to find unless you heard to the Bala subdivision. Thankfully as more GE’s arrived they became more common in the east. It was always nice catching them in pairs although not all that common. I liked the four window can and marker light set up not to mention them being the only Dash-9 to receive the map paint scheme. This day rack train 275 had a pair of low 2500’s as they sit the signals at mile 30. CN 2517 was one of two with the map scheme that had the website added later. Today their numbers are dwindling rapidly and their paint jobs are looking pretty rough and faded.
