While waiting in Fargo to catch 438, I heard the distant sound of a locomotive horn coming from the direction of Chatham. It was a pleasant surprise to see a GMD-1u leading this local enroute to Blenheim.

  1. Thanks, Steve. In hindsight it’s one of my personal favourites with both the power and location. It’s also nice to see that 1444 has been back in Blenheim as of late, almost a decade after this shot.

  2. Btw this is amazing :) And so many cars. After much time to reflect I stand corrected on CN down there. The geeps and GMD1′s look great. :)

  3. Nice capture. Won’t be the same for me with CN – still haven’t shot CN down there :)
