With a late departure of 18:00 instead of the usual 09:55 this made for good lighting of VIA 1 "The Canadian" as they make way up the Bala Sub towards Langstaff GO Station passing what is left of trees that once lined the tracks that have been cut down to make way for the construction of the Yonge North subway extension that has since not made this exact type of shot possible due to track realignment and fencing.

  1. Very nice picture with the low sun light, and an interesting view that wasn’t available until the trees were removed for Yonge subway extension. Thank you, John
