With its stack neatly covered and bell removed, CN S12 8236, class MS-10p, waits the inevitable on a storage track at CN's Toronto Yard on a pleasant May afternoon in 1983. The unit was built by MLW in 1958 and officially retired on October 29, 1982, as being obsolete with only 646,000 miles accumulated. The 25 year old unit still looked pretty good!!!!
