SOO Line 6620 leads a quartet of white SD40-2's on Train #500 as it bangs the CSX diamond in Chatham, Ontario while en-route to Chicago back in 1991. With the sale of the remaining SOO units pending, albeit SD60's, it's nice to find gems like this in my collection.

  2. Sure do miss the Railrunners with their SOO power sets. As I recall, pure SOO were not the norm, nor were four units, but whenever they were all SOO, it was a real treat. Great catch, Geoff!

  3. The only quartet of white SOOs I ever shot was, oddly enough, on the D&H. Up at Guelph Jct in the mid-80s I remember the “Cast” train coming thru in the mid-mornings, usually with one or two white SOOs and a pair of CP SDs; at least when I got to see it. This image sure is a great catch alrighty!!!
