Due to a bridge out near Hinton Alberta on CN Main Line several trains were detoured over CP from Kamloops to Calgary. An eastbound CN detour sits in the siding while the van on a westbound CP coal train clears on the main line.

  3. The number of units on the CN freight seemed suspect that something was up before I read the caption (beyond the obvious CP van). I wonder how well the non-dynamic brake equipped units were received on CP’s much tougher grades?
