Several years ago I visited Hornepayne and was given the opportunity (by a CN employee) to take a tour of the roundhouse.  It wasn't being used at this point but still very impressive, I can only imagine how amazing it would have been to see it in operation.

  1. Wow! This is great. I always heard about the covered turntable including from a CN employee that worked out of Hornepayne. But i’ve never seen a picture of the exterior let alone the interior! And surprised it wasn’t ever really documented in picture. Good job! Thanks for sharing.
