Sitting near the CN station in Niagara Falls ON, is restored LNER 4472, the famed "The Flying Scotsman", operating in Canada as part of its North American visit in the early 70's. Passengers and other bystanders get to examine the cab and controls via a set of steps placed by the locomotive's cab.   1. I still have my souvenir (a replica of the red insignia over the middle driver) but, alas, have lost my photos of that train. :o ( Great to see a shot of ‘er after all these years.

  2. Another “miss” – I don’t even recall this. It must have been displayed in Toronto. Thanks for the picture. I need to reserve the Wayback Machine though. I would have loved to see in person.
