CP U50-16 (Sudbury #2 roadswitcher) with CP 5863 and CP 5905 scoots underneath CN's Sudbury spur heading back to the yard in Sudbury light power. CP 5863 is one of only 2 remaining active units to wear the full multi-mark, with 5863 assigned to Winnipeg yard, and 5911 currently at Alyth but still active as far as I can tell.

  1. My understanding is 5911 has been stored unserviceable. So you have captured the last of the big Multis, Mr. MoFo. Amazing. All those years and the paint still looks better than most of the 9500s.

  2. That must have been recent, trace shows it Arrived Alyth on July 16th, unless that’s July 16th of last year??? (very possible)

  3. Conflicting information I have shows it TUUS (Branchline June ’14) and active (Based in Winnipeg) as of last month. So, you’re right; she is out there……..
