Another shot from a New Years weekend trip into Ontario in 1981.  On January 4th, 2 CN units were put on a westbound VIA train from Toronto.  Riders better hope that the steam generator car continued pumping out the steam, January 4th, 1981 is the date of the coldest temperature on record at Toronto Pearson airport.

  4. Lovely shot. But the coldest day on record was in January this Year.. beating out the 1959 record of -20 (not to mention wind chill).. great you made it out on this cold day!
