On one of my first drives to the BCR yards I Caught these two sitting near the road. Photographed them immediately. To this day I have no idea of where they were used?

  1. Wow!! Now THAT is a find !!

  2. From the size of them they are Narrow gauge. I see White Pass and that made me curious. So I did a bit of searching and a quick wiki search brought me to this “GE Phase 3b 25-Tonner. Cummins Engine Co. HBI-600 prime mover. Originally, Colorado Fuel & Iron Co. #6. Purchased by the White Pass in 1969. Retired in 1979. Donated to the British Columbia Forest Museum in 1985. Sold back to White Pass and moved to Hamilton Mfg. Co. in 2013.”

    Nice catch!
