The Engineer has his movement safely under way as GEXR 518 switches cars in Kitchener yard. The sun has mere minutes left to shine as the solar terminator is about to arrive, bringing with it the familiar darkness of nightfall.

  1. And yet another day comes to an end. Nice shot Steve. Why was the 3054 on 518? Does 431 become 518 from Kitchener? Or only when 431 is late running?

  2. Very nice!

  3. If you like a shot – you are supposed to click the star to give photographers gold :)

As for 431 Kevin, the way I see it, about half the time 431 will terminate at Kitchener, and 433 or 518 will taxi to Kitchener to pick up where 431 left off, sometimes switching the yard, sometimes not.

  4. Pan-tastic !

  5. Thanks Matt. This was a really low shutter speed, he was only doing 10 MPH!
