MISSED IT BY THAT MUCH! On this cloudy day in May, I found myself in Centralia shaking my head in disbelief. The GEXR namesign on the post, the freshly turned over soil...could this station have been demolished? After driving around town for a restored station to quash my fears...I happened upon a citizen and he confirmed just that - my fears! It was too late...I had missed getting photos of the station by months as it had only been torn down in March. TWO MONTHS TOO LATE!

    Hey at least you got the station name sign, it disappeared not long after!

    Very nice shot. It`s unfortunate the station was torn down.

    I agree….but I know it was in very poor shape for a very long time.

    It was a rather ugly looking building after it was badly altered. R.I P.
