Climbing the dip just east of Georgetown, Ontario, possibly the final CN Q144 roadrailer rushes by on it's way to Mac Yard. A solo SD75I powers this train, which will be missed.

  1. Excellent shot. What time was this shot?

  2. I’m glad we chose this spot to shoot

  3. What makes one think it’s one of the last trains?

Until the last one actually occurs…. could be months, could be days we don’t know?

JP your best bet is it usually runs overnight to first thing in the morning around Georgetown (0800-1000). Anything is possible though.

  4. This was around 9 in the morning JP

  5. And Stephen, I just heard from other people that it’s not going to run anymore after November 14th.

  6. Thanks for the info guys. I’ll have to try and shoot the last run.

  7. Jacob, 144 is usually nocturnal…odds are the last train will be at night as well.

  8. Steve the word is on Nov. 14th the terminal for the roadrailer is being shutdown. The employees have got their notice.
