The regular Monday and Thursday run on the BCRY returns to Utopia to interchange with CP after switching Comet Chemicals in Innisfil. I had chosen my spot on top of a 10 ft snow bank for this shot, so this vantage point is very limited. Anyways, the BCRY is seen here passing GO's Allandale Yard. Out of the shot is a hi-rail backhoe with a snow blower attached to it, which was clearing up the yard after a morning snow storm. I had been chasing the BCRY all the morning, and I could tell by the conductor's expression that they were getting a little tired of me. Or maybe it was that I was on top of a snow bank. Or both.

  1. Great effort, taking the time out to check this railroad, Daniel.

  2. Thanks! It’s very predictable, unlike most shortlines, so I knew it was worth it.

  3. What time does she pull out of Utopia on Mondays/Thursdays? I’m about 10 minutes from the yard and I’d like to boot over and check it out one morning.
