This one, TELUS, on VIA 6429 was rather colourful; and although this was just an everyday train, #70 coming east just after 0900; the hillside and the locomotive colour gave this shot a bit of pizzazz. The location, on the downbound curve from Dundas as the track comes up to Mile 2; is mostly overgrown now and photography here is tight and difficult. Looking back, all those wrapped F40′s made VIA a bit more interesting to shoot than just plain units, or today’s new grey/yellow trainsets.

This certainly is a time when we could use some colourful wraps to bring more entertainment to our hobby of being a rail-nuts. )
