  1. Look at that Dash 9 smokin ! I was at Scotch Block (mile 30) waiting on 148 and I heard something was going on at Gtown about this. sucks I couldn’t make it there.

    Nice catch Jacob !

  2. Who are the two guys photographing? rp.ca users?

  3. Thanks for the comments guys.

@Todd, I have no clue who those guys are. They just happened to get into the shot :-)

  4. Nice work Jacob. I had prior engagements so the action at Georgetown had to wait.

Glad you were there and you did very well! Again great work.

  5. Now there is a nice action shot. Something of everything. Good work !!!!

  6. Would the two guys in the shot be Chris judging from the vantage point of this one: http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=25240

  7. The old guy in the black shirt was just some local kicking around the station for the afternoon. Not sure who the guy with the low level tripod setup was.

There was another half dozen of us in the photo line with Jacob

  8. I saw the 399 lash-up on Subday with 8838 leading the bunch. Was not even smoky! I am guessing the train was M398

  9. Sunday* and it was at Brampton around 9:40 AM

  10. Thanks for the comments guys.

@CNSD60F: the train radioed in as 399; and 399 is a westbound. Are you sure you didn’t see 398, which would have been an eastbound?

  11. For whatever it’s worth, this was L42131 03. A42131 03 was the regular Mac Yard-Port Robinson train in the morning.

  12. Thanks Tim! Corrections are always appreciated.

  13. I know this is 399 as it is one of my favorite trains on the CN even though I catch multiple GEVOs on it some days, and I am wrong it came on 384 that morning.
