It had snowed over night and the Empress of Eights was on its return from Vancouver B.C. on its maiden voyage heading east. My three boys where just as excited as myself to see the fresh painted beauty, so bundled them up and down to the tracks we went finding a large snow pile to watch the action .

  1. Uh oh! :-)
That’s a lot of snow men’s on such a snowy day.
Seriously though, nice work catching all the 8′s.

  2. Sure is a nice looking scene. I remember “crazy 8s” arriving new at Fort Erie. Drove down just because I knew it was coming.
