Kind of replicating Arnold Mooney's shot but from the other side, here's GEXR 582 passing the Shakespeare Mills Inc. site with about 20 cars from the CP Interchange at Kitchener for Stratford. As of this date (the 4th) Kitchener Swing job 518 is abolished and 582 now handles these duties ex Kitchener using the Kitchener power set.

  1. Great shot!

  2. Steve: Is the Shakespeare namesign still there? And yes, nice shot on a cold day………

  3. Arnold the Shakespeare station name sign is gone, with the CTC being turned on several station names have been removed from the time table, Shakespeare one of them.

Both ends of the actual siding were removed several years ago.

  4. Thanks!! (BLEEP!) I wonder who got the sign?
