It wasn't often that the Starlite, even in the longer days, came out of Hamilton on the return trip to Toronto when there was still enough daylight for a decent photo. The glare of the sun off the locomotives can't be helped, but the result is still a pretty good image taken from an angle not often utilized at the Jct. The fact it was a bit of a hazy sky probably saved this from being a washout. CP 5733, 4712 and TH&B 401 is the power.

  1. Another wonderful shot from Mr Mooney! Also noticed the third track going up the Dundas sub in this shot.

  2. Thank you, Mike. As usual.

  3. Beautiful Arnold, as usual.

  4. Looks like a nice late winter day. One of those days when we start to think that spring may soon appear. I’m sure there must have been a snow storm a couple of days later.

  5. Arnold, the kids call it “glint” and “glint” light is artistic now, considered as such. :)

I like it! Thanks for sharing.
