Rather lengthy passenger train, but not all that uncommon for the time period. It looks to be a little much for the noonish #73 even though it is a weekend Eastbound. Looks to be about a dozen cars, and I have marked CN 4017 and 6780 as the power up front, this being in the days before VIA Rail was formed.

  1. Interesting that the baggage car is at the end of the train.

  2. 73 would be a westbound. So this is either 70 (most likely) or 72?

Baggage is at tail end because only the power was wyed at Windsor.

  3. Yes you are right, this train is eastbound. I wyed power at Windsor a few times.

  4. This is neat. Thank you.

  5. All those years hanging around Bayview I should KNOW this isn’t a #73. It was just a slip of the gray matter. Probably 72.
