Tis Christmas eve 2015, and not a person was stirring, not even a mouse. Aside from the crew of GEXR 584 and myself, I didn't see a single other person anywhere, parking lots were all empty, and GEXR ran this extra train to Elmira in Daylight - I had the run of the place and I took full advantage of it. At the time, Chemtura was still the name of the plant being serviced, but now it's owned by Lanxess. GEXR 3821 is now GEXR 2073. Merry Christmas to everyone - wishing everyone a festive holiday season and here's to good things to come in 2019.

    Wow thank you so much Steve for posting!! This is a wonderful surprise! Early Christmas present I guess!

    Nice shot too, bet that since the LRT Construction was shut down for the holidays, GEXR themselves though it would be nice to run 584 in the afternoon so the crew could get home on time to spend Christmas Eve with their kids!

    Wow a rare Christmas Eve run to Elmira. I’m glad someone got this. I wish I had as well!
