At the time I took this image of the CN station (bt 1905) at Maymont, it was closed. Not surprising. At the time also, there were only 128 people living here. Not exactly the kind of place that foresaw a potential increase in business. Village after prairie village had a station back in the 70s. With improvements in communication and the passage of Steam, most all became redundant. And demolished. I was really pleased to capture what I did.
Not much to look at, but they were all history. I only wish I had photographed more grain elevators......
