Each afternoon hanging around Bayview we usually hung in until the daily "Pulp" train rolled thru. It often had interesting power. This day's version had CN 9550, 2573 and 5517. GMD-MLW-GMD. Not bad. The train is seen heading toward Niagara from MacYard; mile 37 Oakville Sub at the old Valley Inn Rd bridge. The road is no longer, reduced to a hiking trail. The power is no longer (9550 ret'd 2000) as well as the train, due to the fact the Pulp and Paper company at Thorold is no longer in business.
Times change..............

  1. Great angle Arnold! Makes fr a perfect photo :)

  2. Thanks, Todd. I thought so before photo, not so much after I shot it. :o )

  3. What date did you take this Arnold?
It looks more like November the 8th than 11th of August.
Yup; good angle for that photo.

Since you are not one of those who posts on this group then you would be unaware that the submitting page indicates we put the date down as MM/DD/YYYY. Not all guys do it this way, either. It is initially confusing as many sites want the date DD/MM/YYYY.
