CN 501, a lone SD40-2W, headed west out of Biggar with a single grain empty. The destination was the P&H elevator in Oban, where the hopper was set off and five loads were lifted for the return trip.

  1. Neat shot Jamie. Nice power on that local.

  2. Fabulous Jamie! Did the rental car need new tires when you turned it in?! :)

  3. Thanks guys.

Haha the rental definitely needed a full detail. Completely caked in dirt and mud on the outside, dust from the grid roads on absolutely every surface inside. Even the insides of the door frames and inside the gas tank flap were completely caked. Dead bugs all over the place inside and out. I got my money’s worth out of that thing that’s for sure. :)

  4. I think I put about 6,500 km on it in 8 days. I specifically asked for one that had just had an oil change when I picked it up.
