After spending an hour or so switching out Bell & MacKenzie, the crew of CP TE11 (Welland crew in Hamilton on Saturday) re-emerges, destined for Kinnear after a relatively short time down the Belt. The coils at right would later be lifted by CN, having recently been worked on at Railcare, and heading for Stelco after a layover in Stuart. The building in the background I believe is Ingersoll Tillage.

    Always love these Hammer shots James. How does a Welland crew fair with the complexities of switching in Hamilon?

    Thanks Brad. No issues for them really – there’s overlap in the crews and I recognize some of the TE11 faces from previous Hamilton jobs, and I see guys I know as Hamilton guys down in Welland sometimes too. They bounce around.

    Ok now I need to ask, 4522 had water bottles on the nose? It seems they are a permanent fixture!

    Kevin,case of water on the nose is a Hamilton thing for sure. CP does it, SOR did it and I’ve seen it here and there on CN lately too. Look around at Hamilton yard power shots and itll be a reoccurring theme.
