CN L540 with 4730 and 7081 are working the Kitchener interchange with Canadian Pacific. They have just set-off 10 cars and will then have several tracks to lift before shoving back to the yard on the Huron Park Spur. March 8, 2020.

  1. Nice shot Jason, we have had some good reverse stripe photos posted lately. I also see that tree got trimmed on the S bend behind the 7081′s cab. Yay. :-)

  2. That’s a good shove. In Brantford they put a unit on each end because of the shove. They don’t do this for the Huron Park operation? And the scheme on 7801.. is that a 2nd (or 3rd or 4th…;) rebuild? Nice shot with old units.

  3. Thanks Brundle and Brad for the comments.

Brad it’s rare they would put units on both ends on the HPS, the crews would rather just shove. For 7081 it was the unit’s first rebuild in 1993 and the CNNA scheme was applied.

  4. Very interesting !
