Oddly, I had the 4624 leading 13 years prior to the day that James Knott captured 4624 on the way to the scrap yard in Welland. http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=45076
We were switching the lumber mill at Dunkley, BC and a nasty snow squall blew through the area. I had a few minutes for photos and then back into the nice dry warm cab.
At least 4624 had a nice sunny day for it's last trip even though it was the end of the line for that loco. Wonder who got the number boards and class lights ???

  1. Pictures paint 1000 words…such a true BC railroad scene here. Wonderful
