Sometimes when you get lucky, you still get screwed, with only seconds to spare I attempted to beat this power move to the field by the elevator in Streetsville. I guess you can tell who won the race, LOL. Nevertheless it was quite the power move with GP38-3 3129 leading a pair of ex SOO SD60's along with a BNSF, UP and CP ES44AC plus well weathered CPGP38AC 3018 bringing up the rear. I love the angle of the tracks at the Mississauga Road crossing.

  1. Interesting. A similar power move occurred last week, but from Wolverton west to London. I’m assuming they rounded up a bunch of power that came in on a 240/244 or two and headed east to Toronto. Nice shot!

  2. At least you hid the GEs well.

  3. I was wishing the 3018 was in the lead :)

  4. 3018 caught on fire last week, going for inspection from what I was told.

  5. (I was also told its future wasn’t looking good)

  6. That’s unfortunate but not surprising considering its age and overall appearance. I find something likeable about CP’s small fleet of GP38AC’s.
