I found this image in the pile here in the den; not really all that great but interesting that it focused on the old Train Order Office by the CN Grimsby and Stamford Sub connection. One of the at the time two daily Budd car runs from Toronto to NF has just passed me, and I must have taken this as an afterthought.
The "Station" is long gone. Gloomy day. If the sun was out, I'd probably be facing it.

  1. Mooney! – This is a GREAT picture. It shows so much of what was once common along the railway lines around Ontario. Not to mention passenger equipment that made sense and should be modernized and run over these tracks again.

  2. Thanks. Betcha liked the hoops by the door too. :o )

  3. Even this small the doors are painted the standard blue. Nice Lada parked at the side, Russia’s version of the Gremlin or Pinto. :-)

  4. The screen door is a nice detail. Looks like the chimney off a caboose up top too.

  5. Is this the same location as the CN Clifton sign today on the line to NF station? Church’s lane?
