Caption: One of my favourite spots along the Hamilton sub. more recently is this crossing north of Carlisle. Thanks to a huge brush clearing effort over the last year a lot of old vantage points have opened up, and it is nice to see the old telephone poles still survived adding a decent prop. Even not so exciting lash-ups look more impressive with new scenery. This days 246 has a pair of ES44 rebuilds and GP38-2 3042 for power as it storms southbound for Hamilton. Hopefully the autumn colours are impressive here in a few weeks.
