I guess we have seen enough shots of the CP 41B Business Train, but I just had to sneak one more in; as there has to be some reward for waiting 6+ hours for a train that originally was due in at Cartier at 1545 but kept getting thrown back until it finally made the scene at 1950; rather long after dark. So the "plan" was to hang around at the crew change point; bright lights for safety illuminating the scene. This was the best I could do as the train began to move with the new crew on board and the Spencer Ave crossing lights beginning to activate.
Nice train to see. At least there was some justice for hurrying to this location, taking a motel room 15 km down the way, and settling in for a long wait. Power is CP 1401, 7019 and 1900, and I think 13 cars.

  1. Well done A.W. Its a nice change to see this train at night after so many daylight shots!

  2. Thanks, Lad. I did moan and whine I was not going to see it in daylight as the sun gradually sank below the trees. :o (

  3. SPECTACULAR PHOTO!!! Love the illumination ‘effect’….set off more by the crossing lights being activated. Well done.
