This outfit has evolved into an award winning entertainment destination. Back in 2002 the CP ran its last train along this line. An idea was brought forth on creating a tourist road here, rights from CP were obtained, and in 2015 the Aspen Crossing Railway operated its first tourist train.
Just to the northeast in the village of Mossleigh there lies a long line of old railroad equipment that is hopefully going to be preserved.
Quite the place!! And what better location to view the Aspen Crossing 1624, a former CP locomotive, than from under the Aspen trees?

  1. As info, they also bought an ex-CNR Pacific
4-6-2 steamer that used to be on display in Prince Albert, Sask. Plans are to restore it to operating condition.

  2. You mean that old 4-6-2 sitting out front? That is going to be one heck of a project.
