There was a time when GP40-2 locos were everywhere. But then, so were SD40s.  There's three of them trailing on the power consist of this train. Power is CN 9456, 4101, 5196, 5224 and 5238. Just your average #410 back in the day, if my memory serves me right.  Many of us used to park at the end of Howard Rd where it met the tracks. Nice and quiet as far as any activity other than the railroad.  This location became lost when the 3rd rail went in for GO. A shame. I miss it.

  1. Lots of stripes in this one. Very nice Mr Mooney. Btw, why so many loco’s and the SD’s taking a back seat? Was it a power move?

  2. Ya wonder. CN #410 often had an abundance of power. Balancing it out, I’d say.
