I don’t exactly know where this photo was taken as I believe it was a bail out of the car and get your shots situation. According to the negatives it might be CN 7305 and CN 7031 reversing into the then Stelwire Parkdale Works facility in Hamilton’s industrial core, which is now a current ArcelorMittal facility up on Strathearne Ave north of Strathearne Yard.  Corrections and information are appreciated.

  3. Everything about this screamed Strathearne Yard to me, but the green building in the backdrop was throwing me off. It’s no longer there – wonder when it came down.

  4. I think that would be the Number 2 Rod Mill over on Hobson Road. Closed 2004, demolished 2008 by Murray Demolition.
