Awh, geez. If it isn't one thing or another that slows down the CP as they go about their daily business. We were almost thinking to give up ...... but after 3 hours? No, wait it out. So finally as the sun is behind the clouds and the day is winding down, about 1915 hrs the 'catch of the day' finally shows up. CP 8114, 8129, and six x-KCS, all marked for Progress Rail (PRLX) in tow...3927, 3947, 3951, 3918, 3926 and 3964. Followed it down to Newman Rd (Dundas) just because it was on the way home, but dusk had settled in by then.

  3. Progress rail? Are they being rebuilt? Great catch!

  4. Brad, these were warranty coverage units for the 7000′s when they first came out. Being returned now.

  5. Nice of you to tell us these things,o’ Jazzy One.

  6. Ken Freeman says they are going to AMP Dansville.

  7. Thats where those strings of CP 7000s went, isn’t it?

  8. Yes. I don’t think the PRLX units to Dansville is confirmed yet. Some think they are going back to PRLX. (Raceland, etc). Dansville may just be a stop on the way. Or they just don’t go there. Will be interesting to see what they do.
