The fall colours are at their best as VIA 1 has just run around CN 107 and is right on time for its next stop in Parry Sound...on CP's tracks.

Yes, there was an idler car on the tail end. There are no polite words to describe my opinion of that nonsense.

  1. Spectacular photo!! Love the colours!!!

  2. Yes, a real gem of a shot. Dead on the money with stunning colour.

  3. Perfect location and a great photo. Nice fall colours. Likewise, no printable comments on the addition of buffer cars.

  4. A stunningly beautiful picture ! What a beautiful setting, would make a great public relation’s picture for VIA, which VIA badly needs these days. Too bad the over priced Prestige Class passengers can’t see the beautiful trees and foliage out the rear lounge seats of the Park car. Guess the baggage car is the front end “buffer” car, full of bags, luggage (but no pets) which can help to “buffer” the first coach – what absolute crazy rubbish ! Thank you for posting, John

  5. Absolutely beautiful shot!
