FP9Au VIA 6301 is GMD 1957 built FP9A  ex CN 6534  remanufactured 1983. All 6300's retired or sold between 1993 and 2011.


   #9 (& #10) is the daily Toronto section of the VIA Canadian, sans domes, the domes only on the daily Montreal section trains #1 & #2


   The timetables were so large, in 1986, VIA issued separate timetables for the Corridor, Western Canada, Eastern Canada.


   The interchange traffic on the right placed by / for CN KO11 the  CN  'Leaside turn'.


   The satellite dishes part of the Global TV / Shaw cable compound. Shaw was major Toronto area TV cable provider until Rogers bought out the Toronto area assets.

  1. Great capture Steve! That’s the VIA I remember from the 1980′s and a little over two years later I would ride # 10 myself!
