One of those locations I’ve always enjoyed photographing over the years. Hear CN 435 with a pair of older units, from today’s standard, a SD75 and Dash-9 combo head back onto the double track at Stewartown. Thankfully the clouds parted long enough to add some decent lighting conditions.

  1. Wow, you sure captured the action. Great photo.

  2. This photo brings back wonderful memories behind the throttle and moving through one of just a few equilateral turnouts on the Halton Sub!

  3. Nice. But I do have trouble accepting the description of an SD75 as an “older unit”. But you’re right. How time flies.

  4. Yes it’s hard to believe they are the older power now. I remember seeing them in factory fresh paint. How time flies.
