The ONR Ditcher #1 heads northbound to Englehart on the Temagami Subdivision through Cobalt, ON at the old mining headframe and around the curve of Cobalt Lake. The Angus shops-built van on the tail end makes for a nice subject, with the power crawling down the line in the distance. Cobalt has always been a very unique spot on the ONR that I've always wanted to shoot. The power of the ditcher would be brought down to North Bay on 214 the following day.

  1. Nice!! One thing I have found there seems to be far more interesting angles than trains!!! :o )

  2. Kinda ironic seeing the FRED attached to the van!
