Canadian Pacific's Simcoe wayfreight rolls southbound along the former Lake Erie & Northern Railway, crossing the bridge over New York Central's CASO mainline.  The GMD SW8 was sold to Ogeechee Railroad of Georgia in 1989 as their 101, and is still operating today, once again wearing it's original number.Scan and editing by Jacob Patterson.

  3. I just noticed this image for the first time. Excuse me for that, I was on vacation. Nice to see the 6707….got to see it myself in Sylvania, Georgia last spring…but looking a lot more faded now. I had no idea it was down there.
    This is a remarkable shot, John. It really is.
