In April of this year both Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern came together to form CPKC. Over half a year later and locomotives are still being repainted in Canadian Pacific colors with the beaver shield logo. 

Here, the crew of CPKC H70 have the best view in the house as they pause over the Grand River in Kitchener, Ontario on the Waterloo Subdivision. The consist included CP 3024 and 2207, with GP38-2 3024 having recently been repainted in a fresh coat of red at the Progress Rail facility in Mayfield, Kentucky.

  1. 3024 was sent to AMP in Dansville NY in October 2022, it was likely repainted there.

  2. Thanks for the correction Steve. I just found this out yesterday and was going to add the correction as well.
