In a world of GE's and boxy SD70-variants, it's always nice to see the lines of classic 90's EMD widecabs leading: CN SD75I's 5694 and 5633 roll a long slow 384 through the plant at Snider West, on the last leg of their trip to MacMillan Yard. A dimensional load (a pair of industrial steam generators?) rides a heavy duty flatcar up front.

    Cool shot with the signal bridge and that forest of hydro towers in the background. And I totally agree with your appraisal of modern locomotive aesthetics. :-)

    Let’s not forget that seam (on nose) that denotes that these are isolated cabs and comfier to ride in. :-)
