Can the scenery get any better? Just when you think you have seen the most beautiful scenery of the trip, the train makes another turn and BOOM another great view presents itself. VIA #2 The Canadian is just 3.5 miles east of Jasper, AB at CN English, AB Mile 232.30 CN Edson Sub. No matter which direction you look you are in awe of the majestic Rocky Mountains, the flowing rivers, and the wildlife grazing along side the tracks. Not a bad way to spend a week. :-)

    Yeah, pretty hard to beat the view from the Skyline or Park car dome when on The Canadian. I had the whole upper level to myself for an hour or so after departing Jasper. Nice and easy to move around for a good shot.

    Thanks Ken! :-) Having just departed Jasper, the freshly cleaned dome windows in the Skyline car provided a nice clear view of the magnificent scenery. More to come in 2024.
