Leased GATX GP40G 3080 and Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia Railway (CBNS) C630M 2035 are viewed building their train for the return trip to Goderich at the Stratford, Ontario yard on February 6, 1994. GP40G 3080 looks almost un-touched except for the small GATX decals on it. The winter of 1993-1994 was a brutal one for GEXR’s fleet of second-hand GP9’s and by early February, most were either out of service or severely ailing, which forced RailTex to lease power or transfer from their other operations.

  1. Very nice. Like the BN logos and ‘burlington Northern’ under it.

  2. Yes Steve, those didn’t need any “touch-ups.” Thanks for the comment.
